This is what it looked like yesterday. It is currently 10 degrees. I hope things warm up for the Super Bowl. I wonder if they would cancel if it's too cold or if a blizzard hits.

What exactly is too cold for a football game?
Back in 1967 they played in -13° with WIND chill of -48° and they didn't have the modern technology of warmer clothing and sideline heaters that they have today.
Only thing that might affect the game is if nobody can get there due to weather anywhere in the US.

It is NEVER too cold for football!

IMO this was a stupid move anyhow to have the game at an outdoor stadium in a cold weather state.

It was done for the tourist dollars...I'm sure NJ can use a boost after the hurricane and rebuilding efforts.

Bad idea for the game to be played there. They might get lucky and have a nice day, but I think the game should still be played in warmer climates or a dome. Every city would like a piece of the money pie, but common sense should prevail. And have the Pro Bowl AFTER the Superbowl, like before, so all the players can play and relax after the season is over.

I know why it was done. I still think it was a bad idea.

They stopped running the Pro Bowl after the Super Bowl because the top players stopped wanting to attend - and they can't be forced.
The Pro Bowl is also a tourist event...not a good TV ratings draw anymore.
The players don't need a trip to Hawaii to relax...in fact the best players have been avoiding it in droves for many years before the date switch.

And to think, people are paying up to $500K for the pleasure of sitting in the cold. I'll happy watch in my warm living room on tv. Hopefully the weather will warm up before the SB.

The only people there are true fans of the 2 teams and people on expense accounts!
