I wanted to know when you respond to someone's post is it possible to message them? I replied back to the post and hope to hear back. So can we message on here if so how? Thanks!

@kitty4me@, you can notify the user of your reply by putting their nickname with @ sign in front in the post, like I did using your Nick.  The user will see a notification that they were mentioned in the post. There is no means to send a private message though.

@kitty4me, yes, you did it right.  

 

@But now, lesson 2 - it doesn't always work.  See how your name with @ in front is a different font color, but when you put @ in front of my name, the font didn't change color? That means I didn't receive notification.  The font color change on your name shows you did receive notification.  Notification seems to be a bit squirrelly and it doesn't always work.

 

@Here's what you need to know - sometimes when you type @, a list of nicks that have posted to the thread is displayed.  If so, click on the name you want to notify.  The name will automatically be added after @.n  That usually works correctly.  But often, the list is not displayed after you type @, so then you have to type the nick, and that seems to be hit or miss....sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.
