Merlin II Update

Dear Friends,

Thanks to alll of you for your wonderful words of encouragement and the advice /concerns I had about the new kitten i wanted to adopt.

But, as we all know, life has a way of altering our plans.

I was getting ready to visit Merlin at his foster mom's home when she called with a change in plans. Seems a young family (boy 7, girl 10) had seen Merlin a couple of weeks ago; were going on vacation and wanted to consider. Of course, the kids talked of nothing else but Merlin the whole time. Seems they had lost a kitten to some sort of infection about a year ago.

Anyway, the "mom" was in a quandry...two families wanted this sweet little boy.

I knew what I had to do and sadly told her to go ahead in place Merlin with this family.

I view it as a sign...maybe this was not to be for me. Young kittens; young children--perfect together.

Maybe someday....
