My Dad always smelled of Old Spice...every now and then if I'm in Walmart or someplace that carries it, I'll make a point to stop and smell it just to renew the memories.
My late hubby always wore Drakkar and Drakkar Noir. I could only smell it when I nuzzled him....again, I indulge myself sometimes and just sniff for the memories. I can sniff this at home though because I bought a small bottle for special moments.

Men's Cologne: What You Like/Don't Like
Being one of the few males here this is my take on cologne for men. There are some of them I prefer and ""after hockey game locker room smell"" to smelling any of that stuff. This is either in the bottle or on a man.
For me the preference is smelling clean with whatever natural(resting non-sweating)smell that may be for each male. I know what my wife likes so if I do decide to use some on some rare occasion that is what I do. Anyone remember the Brylcreem ads? If not here is a commercial from the 1950's. Now this is a hair product but I loved the smell of it on my hair.

Awwwww John, you brought tears to my eyes, but in a good way. My dad always used Brylcreem, in fact I still have a tube of it in his shaving kit that was with him at the nursing home when he passed. My dad's hair thinned out, but he still had lots and it was silver grey and gorgeous! I would tease him that he looked like Einstein when it was freshly shampooed because it was all fluffy and crazy looking, and he would tell me to bring him his Brylcreem.
You are correct, just a little dab will do ya. We would comb back his fro and he would be happy. Good memories.... and it smelled so good too.
