Watching the Olympics on one station and then the news from Kiev on another can't help but bring thoughts of what happened to that other beautiful city. To see the before the riot photos of Kiev compared to just 3 days later is tragic, to say nothing of the loss of human life.

Thought go out to all the people caught up in this mess and to their friends and family here in the US.

Hopefully this will be a simple moral support thread like the many prayer threads and not become a debate of our country's politics.

I've been watching closely because a dear friend's family is still there and both her parents teach at a university.

I hesitated this morning posting a thread fearing that it would become heated so I am very glad to see you bring this here.
