Thank you Irishgrl, , I appreciate the feedback. There are so many things out there that may or may not work, it is nice to hear a professional give a honest opinion. I will look this up and see what they cost now.

No problem Jannabelle. There are so many products out there and so many conflicting opinions by professionals even dermatolgists. I will say that a lot of dermatologists aren't as knowledgeable about skin care as people would expect them to be. They are skin disease specialists and at times know more about that than skin care. Some are better than others and I find the older ones (not all but a good amount) are even more behind. I like to go by correlating science though and what the unbiased research shows.
Sometimes I look at the ingredients that derms and plastic surgeons tout or recommend and I cannot believe they put their names and reputations on it because there are so many irritating ingredients on it, or they will be in jar form (which totally loses its efficacy if it contains any type of active ingredient or lacks cutting edge ingredients. For instance I think most of Perricones products are not only completely overpriced but a good majority of them aren't even average products. People trust him though because he is a doctor and they think he can be trusted.
In general I think people expect way too much out of skin care products. The most important anti aging ingredients are #1 a good SPF and a good exfoliant (retin a, AHA's,etc...)

I appreciate you taking the time to help me. There are so many products out there to know what to use for your skin type. It is frustrating.
Have a nice night!

That is something about the dermatologist,....and they are not cheap! lol......I think somewhere you gave me a run down on drug store products that were good products..... that was very helpful....I looked at the Face-master, and it kind of reminder me of thr Dermawand, that HSN used to sell, but I think the Face-master must be more effective.

I bought this machine because I used the one at the office a couple of times a week and I liked the results. I would often have to wait to use the machine because a client would be one it so I wanted to have one I could use when I wanted to use it and not have to wait. I have to say I bought the Facemaster completely intending to return it because I was SURE it would not be as effective as the expensive one at work and I was very skeptical it would work at all. This was one product that actually surprised me in not only it being as effective as the one at work (and that one is VERY expensive) but how easy it is to use. I honestly find it as effective as the one at work. I cannot believe how long it has lasted either.
If you do choose to get one, try it on one side of your face and look at the difference. I love watching the difference. On the side I use first, one eyebrow and the side of my lip will be raised a good 1/4 inch compared to the other side. It is pretty funny. I bought one for my mother and sister too to use at home. They both really love it. 2 of the doctors wives have one too and love it. If you don't like it you can always return it but you must use it religiously to see results. I use it in the evening while I am watching TV and sometimes if I have something special going that day I will use it in the morning before I leave for work.

No problem Melania2. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask. I understand your frustration. I have many years of experience with this and I even get frustrated by the blatant lies these companies are allowed to tell. I really think there needs to be more laws on what these companies are allowed to claim.

Hi Irshgrl,
I'm not Melania, but I hope you don't mind, I took a look at the website, another one I didn't know about and it is so cool. Thank you for posting it. I will need to check the entire site out when I get a chance. Thank you, again.

Thanks. I just clicked the link and was pleasantly surprised to find that everything I'm using is on her best list with the exception of my eye cream.
