Nope, wasn't doing that. Sorry you took it that way.

She is the real deal and seems to have it all.
Fox News gives you "fair and balanced" reporting every time!!

@Giggles Too wrote:@Noel7 I wish Bill Buckley was still with us, or someone would emerge who possesses that level of intelligence, style, and humor. Bill Buckley was awesome. Those were the days [sigh].

We agree
He was incredible, I used to watch him on PBS. He's the reason I got interested in politics.
My mother and I used to watch his show.
We agreed with Jeff Greenfield a lot more often than we did with Buckley, but it was an intelligent, articulate show with strong advocates for all positions.

I liked Greta back in her CNN days. I think the show was called Burden of Proof.

@Tinkrbl44 @Hoovermom @Stray I heard her say she is an INDEPENDENT ........

I watched her on CNN and have watched her on Fox. Do you still watch her? She's still the totally fair and objective Greta, Fox's unsung hero.

As far as "the question" and whether it was appropriate......Megan said that she and the rest of the journalist selected for the debate were involved in many meetings in preparation for the debate.....so we don't know if Megan herself came up with the question, or whether it was her boss or someone else on the panel, or who decided which question should be asked by whom.....It seems that ALL the network were going for the "entertainment" factor to boost their respective ratings....
Before all the hoopla, I used to enjoy Megan's Show, I thought she approached questioning in the same style as a lawyer would, her previous profession (no surprise there)......But I noticed after "the question" and all the hoopla, why a "star" was born and her ego trip took off....I don't like it when journalist are THE STORY... Today is seems that the non cable network news is mostly "filler" and very little "substance", and the reporters are the "stars" instead of the events that are happening or the important issues....I find most of the Fox News shows and journalist refreshing from the mundane news on the major networks (ABC, CBS, NBC)
To me......Megan wears the same clothes over and over.....or just similar styles, mostly black sleeveless.....I'm thinking to myself...."didn't she wear that the other day"---LOL!!!

And do you believe her? I mean, would an "Independent" really go to work for Fox?

@Tinkrbl44 Yep I do specially if it opens a door for her broadcasting career and she uses it as a stepping stone for other opportunities..
And I DO think some of Fox shows do allow a variety of views to be expressed (i.e. Greta's Show and The Bill O'Reilly Show...for example.....

@Tinkrbl44 Yes of course. Some Democrats work for Fox. I think I read a while back Shep Smith is a Dem and there were others at Fox listed in the article where I read that. And O'Reilly has mentioned who at Foxnews is a Dem.
O'Reilly is an independent. Just because he leans conservative doesn't mean he's not an independent.
Do you watch Foxnews ever or just go by hearsay? Or are you making assumptions?
