I think Megyn is an attractive and smart lady. I like her longer hair as I don't really think short hair looks good on women.

I'm not really sure why she left FOX, her ratings were good and her salary sounded good to me. I think it will be interesting to see how the career move works out for her.

@RetRN she said that the schedule with the new network allows her to be home for dinner with her family and spend more time with her kids. What is odd though is that she now will be working 6 days a week instead of 5 so not sure how that is working out for spending more time with her kids? Anyway, she would have made wayyyy more money staying with FOX so obviously the money was not a motivating factor, which is rare these days. I honestly had not even heard of her before the debate thing.

I tend to believe her when she says a morning show will give her more time with her kids. Her show on Fox was a night show, and she also filled in for other hosts, and/or appeared on later shows.

I am sure the $25 million contract might have helped her make the decision. How much more "star power" does a multi millionaire need at her point in life? I think she is already there, in that respect.

I remember when Katie Couric made it big, and at some point, down is the only remaining direction. Not sure what Katie is doing now, but her "star power" has greatly dimmed.

@hckynut nbc did not pay her $25 million. It was less than $20m- somewhere between $15m and $20m. Fox was offering her more money than NBC is paying her.

I don't think this is her most flattering hair style.  The Old Hollywood thing just doesn't seem to work for her face.  I liked her short hair at one point when it was kind of starting to grow out.  She's got the bone structure for it.

I just don't like listening to her.  Her rat a tat vocal style is grating, IMO.  And I never understood the Big Whoop made about her interviewing and reporting skills.  Just average.  Again, IMO.

I edited your post.

I liked Megyn, but she changed a whole lot after the debates. I still liked her show, but Tucker? His show adds a new dimension to just news and telling or showing video of those with opposite views.

Like Tucker, I too am interested and want to see and hear from those with different views than I share. Some I have seen on his show give me more insight into more details of why they have their view.

Some actually have a good respectful debate with Tucker, while others, in my view, just want TV exposure to go on and on with just rhetoric and really don't answer or debate with him. I find that also interesting at times.

DVR his show every night as he has a different type of show that did Megyn. I do wish her good luck at her new network.

I wish Bill O' Reilly would quit bellowing over everybody and let them have their few seconds to talk. He butts in, bullies, runs over people. Just because it's your show doesn't mean you can't be gracious.

why invite guests on if you only want to hear yourself blow ?

Get rid of that Watters kook too can't stand him. LOL

I agree. His show is very difficult to watch most of the time. Terrible interviewer if you never let the interviewee answer and/or finish their thoughts!

Hi @HappyDaze

I have read different reports on the amount on her contract with NBC, anywhere from $15-$25 million. As someone who regularly DVR's many shows on Fox, I have never heard/read or seen an official contract amount offered her to keep her with their network.

Personally I think the numbers those in the media are throwing around are just them speculating their opinions, not actual facts. I doubt Megyn would ever give provisions of her contract to any media source, but then there are the "infamous leaks"!

Whatever the amount and the provisions in her new contract, I am sure she is getting well paid. I wish her well with her new gig.

He didn't get to be the number one cable news type show for 16 years by accident. Those that choose to appear on his show should not be surprised when they are on the air. He readily admits why he runs his show his way, and does it quite often.

He wants answers when he asks questions, not rhetoric or someone's talking points. I watched him many years ago on a different network and he was the same as he is now. If a guest doesn't like the format of how he runs his own show? Don't put yourself on his show?

As far as Jesse Watters? I like him and I like his new show. Call him whatever you choose, but I like his style and also his knowledge in his field of journalism/pundentry, and politics.

Different fruits and veggies for different viewers, some like them, some do not. I am one that eats them up.

I think if you like her it doesn't matter what network she is on.

Like others...I never knew who she was before that 1st debate.

She's at an Oscar party, not on air at NBC.

It was her former network that liked their blonds with plunging necklines and lots of leg.

She was the only person there who when to work in cocktail dresses daily.  Not sure why.

By the way.  I had my doubts about Tucker Carlson taking her time slot, but his show is way better than hers ever was.

@esmeraldagooch: I agree with you that she was the only one there with cocktail dresses with plunging necklines.  The other anchors always looked professonal.  I love Tucker also.
