I think she is acting like a woman in love.  And what could be better than that (if her husband is acting like a man in love)?

Fabulous!

Look what happened to Grace Kelly and Princess Di ... I would say she should request "Hazard Pay."   My words to her:

I find it interesting that a super feminist woman would leave her high paying job to join a very sexist organization called the Royal Family.  She’s told what to do, how to dress and what to speak about.  Wait until she marries Harry.  The Firm always has the last say.  She is no different than Diana or Sarah.

I think the Royal Family has learned from past mistakes.

Already the fact that William and Harry were allowed to pick their spouses is a huge step forward.

And the women are different, too.

Both are basically "commoners."

Kate attended university, and worked on her own before marrying William.  She was also older than Diana when she got married.

Same with Meghan and Harry.  Besides, I don't think Harry is under the same kind of "pressure" as William to adhere to certain traditions.

I think Harry and Meghan will be much much different than Sarah and Andrew.  I think they will live a more liberated and independent life.

I'm not exactly sure what a "super feminist" means to you, but she dated the man first .....  and then they decided what comes next.

As for subsequently  "joining a very sexist organization"  ......   William and Kate have already set a newer, fresher tone for how things will evolve after the queen and her son are gone.

I think Harry and Meghan will have an easier time of things because of William and Kate's presence.  JMO

I watched the interview and Kate was composed during the entire piece while Meghan was fidgeting always fidgeting tossing her hair touching her face.  When the interviewer asked her a question she seemed to finally realize her place by saying that she unfortunately could not take the liberty of answering that,  but will say this...

I wonder how the fabulous Queen, coronated in 1953, ever managed without #MeToo and #TimesUp.

Sorry, I'm not a Meghan fan. I find her disingenuous, and frankly, conniving. This ought to be interesting.

She seemed to "finally realize her place" ?

"Could not take the liberty of answering that" ?

Oh brother  .....  She must really love that guy.

Whatever she has chosen to do, it's her business and no one else's. It will be a difficult transition, but I'm sure she knows that. She has Harry to help her through it since he observed in person his own mother's difficulties. I think he will run interference. If their love it strong enough, they will survive.

LuluBelle2, you certainly have a right to your opinion, but I'm curious, what makes you think Meghan is disingenuous and conniving?
