...I am still being fed on by mosquitoes. Big ones! The temp has gone down in southeast Arizona to the high 30'S. We are having 60-70's day time temps. I wonder what temp it takes to get rid of these skeeters.

I am feeling for those of you that are snowbound. Unbelievable pictures abound of the beautiful snow, but this early? Take care and stay warm.

Re: Meanwhile, In Arizona...

Thanks. Wishing you a very good one as well. We won't be doing a lot; having an early dinner here at home with the boys. My oldest son has to be at work by 4 pm and works until midnight. Then he has to be back at work on Black Friday from 6 am til 8 pm. I know he will be exhausted by the time he gets home.

It has to freeze to get rid of flies and mosquitos.

Sorry to hear about your mosquito problem. I've been in AZ since 1988 and have never been bitten by one. Guess they don't like me.

Re: Meanwhile, In Arizona...

We are in Pinal County and the skeeters were bad for a while but not bad this week. The funny thing is (not ha, ha funny) we have a hole in our screen and the b@stards were making their way in with a few flies. We wanted a new patio screen and the guy came out yesterday and said he could not pop the wheels off the track! We just had the windows washed the guy got it out just fine. We're going to call him and ask him to get it out and take it to the hardware store ourselves.

I live in Arizona & it was 14 degrees Monday morning at 7am when I got up. Daytime high was 37. I am hoping it killed a nest of bees I had in the dirt in back. Haven't seen any since.

Re: Meanwhile, In Arizona...

On the CA central coast, our temps are still getting into the 60's in the afternoon. But it's much colder at night, and I'm not seeing as many flying insects and spiders overall. And I'm not a big fan of these creepy, crawly things, so I'm happy about that.

Get the original Skin so Soft from Avon then spray some on yourself and the area around you.
