seagal, Much less of the plating and finessing. The items are lightweight but real gold, 80% at least. Gold is back.

Beautiful gold and turquoise pieces. My weaknesses are jade, turquoise and pearls, and the turquoise is sleeping beauty. I love the opaque stones.

I have a lot of pieces from when prices were comparatively inexpensive but did get the line bracelet with turquoise as well today.

I think turquoise looks best when set in gold. And one simply doesn't see that--ever--in my local jewelry stores.

Hi, Burnsite! I'm a huge fan of turquoise in yellow gold. It definitely is hard to find, perhaps simply because of the fact it's traditionally seen in white metals in this country. I have a few pieces from the Q from the 1990s when I started watching them, and I've found several when visiting Spoleto USA in Charleston, S.C. (not sure why they seemed to offer it there).

I'm glad gold is back. I'm fortunate to have more jewelry than I really "need,"{#emotions_dlg.laugh} but it's great to see the solid pieces beginning to surface on QVC again.

I don't have it in hand, in my safe deposit box, but my most valuable turquoise piece is done with gold, 14K, by LeVian . . . and the turquoise is the Robin's Egg. My other pieces are just Lucky or Fossil and others.

Hi, Qwackertoo! Oh, my goodness that sounds magnificent. Do you still find pieces available?

Hello, ladies! I've always heard it was "better before." I'm not sure before what exactly.{#emotions_dlg.laugh}

But I've seen no significant changes since I started posting here.

There are some gorgeous gold and turquoise pieces today. Happy hunting!

I don't care for yellow gold, so I am not tempted--so far! If they start showing some turquoise with white gold, I might be in trouble. Turquoise is one of my birthstones and I've worn it even when it wasn't so popular.

well, some people get upset because posters they like leave - now, I don't know why they leave ~ could be that they got ill, life got too busy. Sometimes we will hear of a death and it is sad.

but there are those that have to blame others why posters leave, and they have no idea why posters leave. No one does...except the poster who left!!

Azterry, I love turquoise in white gold, too--and it's my birthstone, too. Biancardi, I got the turquoise line-bracelet on advance order and the clearance drop earrings in yellow beryl in gold, for a formal outfit I need earrings for (or think I need earrings for). A few 3/4 inch hoops for my little sister, who loves hoops in that size, are in my shopping cart.

I am actually _watching_ QVC to see the goods. This means I will order some more, probably, as I have no sales resistance when I see a value.

I haven't watched for several years on a Gold day--too depressing. They do have some resin pieces, but most of these pieces, though lighter than one would like, are real gold. And I can't believe they are selling sleeping beauty turquoise. My favorite ring, actually from shopnbc, which used to have nicer items than they do now, is sleeping beauty turquoise and it is so very pretty. As I love gold with gemstones, it's a nice day for me, but they are getting closer to just doing all gold, as they used to. Lots more selection.
