My soon to be 3 year old Golden, Layla has been great with Cally our little Lab pup...Layla has some issues and I was hesitant to get a new pup for that reason. Layla tends to fixate on things and not let it go. She started chewing our fence again, two big holes in less than 5 minutes, we don't leave her out unsupervised for more than a few minutes because of this problem, usually it is to get a ball or other item that has gone into another yard. Yesterday I caught her trying to push Cally through one of the holes . I wonder if she is trying to get rid of her ? Soon the entire bottom of our fence line (which is a large area) is going to be reinforced with boards - doesn't look pretty, but does the trick!
