I never realized 'this' day was dedicated to Star Wars from that far back! When my kids were in school March 14 was always a big day- it was Pi day. Teachers would bring in all sorts of pies to celebrate 3.14!!

I must admit hearing it this morning was a first for me and I still remember standing in line back in Jr. high to see the first Star Wars so I was aware of Margaret Thatcher back in 1979, especially since I have followed politics even back in my first grade year of 1968. What memories of that time Star Wars and Jaws, the originals not the sequels.

Now, much younger generations are making such a big deal about the recent release when they weren't even born for the several episodes made. I won't go to see it because it no longer holds interest for me. It's the past, my past, my memories, done.
Even if they weren't here to see the original
episodes they might've seen them. Great
tradition of movies imho.

You bet!! This past one I went to the most expensive bakery in town and bought a high calorie and high tasting piece of San Francisco Cream Pie. Ummmm, I may have to pretend today is Pi Day instead of Star Wars day.

Did anyone see the episode when The Big Bang Theory was celebrating May the Fourth be with you. It was funny and I don't remember when I first heard of it.
3.14 is a national holiday - I made a pie and brought it to work along with 2 other coworkers - we all enjoyed
