I remember three things I bought from Mary Beth's presentatio: a denim an co. Barn jacket purchased about 25 years ago. Still have it. I worked a lot outside with it. Well- made. A two ply baking sheet. Purchased at least 25 years ago. I still use it. And a thong. That was about 29 years ago. She said "try it". Don't have that. But I can't remember the host of any item I bought. Just what I bought from Mary Beth.

I think about the many accolades for Mary Beth his week..most praising her sincerity, authenticity, faith, kindness, service midset, gentleness, and steadfastness.  And talking about how many lives she touched.  And it makes me think about the difference bettween Mary Beth and so many of the otther hosts.  Of course they all have their own style.  But Mary Beth never needed or tired to be over the top.  No crazy jumping around, crazy outfits, loud talking, gimmicks, hitting you over the head with her faith, or anything but calm, steady, and sincere.  In today's world the loud gets attention..the ones who have some pitch..the ones who brag on themselves...the ones who see QVC as a less-than job on the way to being famous.  And then there is Mary Beth.  38 years.  Not looking to be famous.  Looking to do her best, to be honest, to show grace and kindness mixed with intelligence and strength.  I wonder how many of the more prominent hosts would have so many people saying "he/she. is a wonderful human, she touched my life, she is a treasure.

I know the. word meek is often misundetood as weak.  Meek is strength under control.  Mary Beth is meek.  Strong, smart, accomplished, never wanting to be soemthing she isn't or brag on herself.   She is different from so many in the business world and so many at QVC.  I admire that.  Thank You Mary Beth for showing what success really looks like.

@srgtdj - it's too bad the 40+ hosts she trained didn't follow her advice.

There's always a lot to be thankful for if you take time to look for it.
For example, I am sitting here thinking how nice it is that wrinkles don't hurt.

I totally agree about MB and every compliment and superlative bestowed on her is deserved. I will miss her.

I have just seen her interview with Shawn and I have to say that as someone who is not much of a Shawn fan I was impressed at the down to earth, human and relatable person I saw vs. the character she portrays on air.

MaryBeth seems to bring out the best in people. I think that (although I seldom have a chance to see Shawn because of the merch she sells) I am inclined to view her in a much more favorable light now that I have seen her

softer, less abrasive side.

Tonight is going to be bittersweet for sure.

I think Mary Beth is so appreciated and loved because she is so authentic and what my mother use to say --- what you see is what you get! No pretense.  No need to try and be anything but what she is.  A lovely, kind, intelligent woman with strong faith who is not afraid to show it.

@srgtdj What a lovely tribute.  I hope she sees this.  I've watched QVC right from the beginning and Mary Beth has always been a class act.  Will miss her,

@srgtdj  Such a nice tribute,  I think she has the "It" factor, someone either has it or they don't. What you see is what you get with her, one of a kind.

MaryBeth always stayed classy.

That's very rare for Q hosts these days.
