I think she looks fabulous. Anyone who thinks she is setting some sort of unrealistic standards for women her age by posing for SI, well honestly that's on you. It's up to each of us to win the battle of not comparing ourselves to other women.

@kittygalore this SI spread is a lie! No one at her age looks like that! No one! All the pictures we see here are doctored in some way. What blows my mind is that Martha herself is trying to fool everyone. Good diet and exercise is a good way to stay youthful. I'll agree with that but these photos are just not real.

Whether you are 21 or 81 photoshopping pictures doesn’t do anything to empower women. In fact, it’s the opposite. The men and women looking at these photos still don’t measure up. That’s a problem.

Let’s see Martha on a cover without the alterations. That would be empowerment.
