North NJ here.  Out doing some errands earlier and a large dead limb fell from a tree and missed my car by 15 feet as I was driving near a wooded area.  More wind and rain to come later in the day.  Stay safe out there.

@CalminHeart.  That sounds terrible.  I hope you have some type of non-electric heat source.

I had distant cousins, a brother and sister, who perished in a storm like that years ago in SW Kansas.  It started snowing while they were in church and by the time they left, they were in a full-blown blizzard.  They never made it home.

I'm also in the midwest/St.L and it'ss currentlly 35 degrees with winds @ 30-31 mph and has been up to 50 mph. There's a wind advisory and we got a little snow overnight. No power outages where I am thank goodness ! Come on Spring !

Ugh, more winter weather, I am in the midwest.  My wedding anniversary is toward the end of March, our wedding day was beautiful, warm and sunny.   We went away for a 1 week honeymoon and came home to snow...March is an iffy month but I am ready for consistent sun and warmer weather.

We had those winds yesterday. We get a lot of wind here but not like that. Sounded like the 3 little pigs were trying to blow our house down. It's still windy today but not 50 mph wind gusts.

Our temperatures dropped but it still wasn't that cold. I know our heater came on last night.

Stay safe.

In east central PA. a good soaking rain which we need badly and gusty wind on and off. I think it's in the upper 50's. Temperatures are going to go back down again, though for a couple of days, but looks like a nice warmup next week.

I'm so sorry about your brother, sister and cousins.

Power came back on after 9 hours out. My furnace got a good workout because it was 50 degrees in my house. The first thing I did was make coffee. LOL

It was a blizzard with -27 degrees on Wednesday, 62 degrees on Thursday, and another big snowstorm and cold temps today. I'm counting the days til spring/summer.
