crazy world we live in.

Sounds entirely appropriate. Shooting into a vehicle is against the law. It does not matter who is in the vehicle.

Shooting at a car gets you arrested and convicted. Killing an armed kid with box of Skittles in hand is justifiable homicide. Yup, only in America.

You fell for it! The media has used the box of candy as a distraction. The event was never about candy.

I know you mean "unarmed kid". Totally agree with your post. Isn't it ironic- murderer escapes prison, but his attempted murderer is imprisoned.
Bottom line, every whack job and his/her brother can own a loaded firearm.

Big difference in 2 things you mentioned. One suspect was found to be Not Guilty by an assembly of Jurists. The other suspect was found Guilty by an assembly of Jurists.
Yes, that is how it works in America. Innocent until, and if, a person is tried, most often by a Panel of chosen unbiased Jurists.

Because he was found not guilty means he didn't kill an unarmed kid? He killed the kid and then went on to show that he's a hot head who likes to brandish a gun. He's been embroiled in all kinds of incidents that have involved the police. Yep. He's not guilty all right.

I wasn't on either jury, but I have sat on 9 different Jury Panels, both Civil and Criminal. I sure don't claim to know ALL the facts of either trial. If there is a better Justice System in the world, I have yet to see it.
My comments here are based on facts, not on what I think, nor on emotion. Because I may disagree with someone or something does not make me right. Like it or not, I accept the decision of a Jury.
