I saw Sleeping Beauty as a kid, and they were very successful in making Maleficent a sinister (and memorable) character, even as a cartoon. Some things should be left alone.

I agree, I don't think I would take little ones. There were some funny scenes also.

Im glad you enjoyed it. I have been waiting for this movie forever! We are going next Sunday (hoping it wont be so crowded). DH and I are taking my 3 granddaughters (16,14,& 10). My daughter will probably go too. As we like to say, there's never a bad Disney movie! We cant wait!
