I mentioned a few weeks ago that we were adopting Maine Coon sisters into our family (my first experience with kittens!). I thought you might enjoy a few pictures of the girls during their first week at home. SO much energy! But I love watching them play and romp with each other--and then snuggle each other while they sleep. Soft furry bellies, tiny chirping meows, and nose-to-nose kisses with me have been real highlights. Of course, we've had a few challenges too during the 1st week....hiding under things, playing in the litter boxes (OMG--cleaning 8 paws of 2 squirming kittens is a task!). But they are adorable to me no matter what. Hope these bring a smile to your face today. ( I have a friend who is a photographer so was lucky to get some wonderful photos of my girls!)
