Mailbox bashed in again

I have a rural mailbox at the curb & got up this morning to find it bashed in again (the 4th time in 2 years). This is so discouraging because I'm a senior, & have to hire someone each time to replace it. Didn't even bother to report it this time because the vandals are never caught. I live in a very nice neighborhood. I just feel like sitting down & crying. Don't kids have any respect for people's property anymore? My mailman said there is no such thing as an indestructible mailbox. I just had to vent...sorry.
