@Tina From Georgia You two are not forgotten and are certainly in our prayers. I am sure there are a lot of resources to help people dealing with these issues, and I wish I knew of some--I know a lot of military families have support groups for those who lose limbs.  I cannot imagine how hard this must be.

I do know how strong prayers are and knowing that there are lots of people praying for you!  So you are in our thoughts and our hearts.

@Tina From Georgia  Just wanted to let you know you can have an occupational therapist come to your home if there are any challenges with daily living activities, such as showering, etc.  There are shower chairs and transfer benches too.  

I have had both OTs and PTs ( physical therapists) come to my home who were very helpful.

@Tina From Georgia Hi, I am new to your thread and just read all the way through it.  I strongly believe prayer can work miracles.  Please add me to one of those praying for your family.  I hang out over on the Pet Lovers forum on the Schmoo page with Sammycat and Friends.  We have formed a close bond through many, many years and have prayed together for our belved furry family and our Beloved Family members and we have seen prayer work in amazing ways.  Please take good care and feel the circle of prayer wrapped around you.
