Then why did you bother to comment?  You could have just scrolled on by.

Taylor Swift is not the first singer to get married at the Garden.

Sly Stone of Sly and the Family Stone was married there on June 5, 1974.

@Tinkrbl44   LOL.  So funny.  Even I knew what it stood for.  You should have asked one of your kitties.

@willowbark

Actually, the person who starts a thread shouldn't assume everyone will automatically know what they're talking about.  It happens from time to time.   I'm sure you've seen this on here before.

@Tinkrbl44  LOL.  Yes, okay but the  giveaway was seeing who was posting on page one of the thread,  New Yorkers.

@willowbark

Yes, I but I had already stated in post #19 that I had to read several posts to figure out what they were talking about.  Thanks anyway.

@Tinkrbl44   Same with me. I had no idea what this was about until well into page 2.  Not everyone will automatically know what MSG stands for.

Gosh...I thought MSG was something you sprinkle on food...

(OK...I've lived out West most of my life)

Exactly!   I think MOST of our country would assume MSG is a food additive.

I would rather be at MSG next week starting Tuesday when Bon Jovi
takes over the Garden.

I'll take a pass on the circus wedding.

You can order your food to be made without msg.
Just sayin'.😛

I do not know much about Taylor as a singer but her generosity is wonderful 👍.

@Tinkrbl44   I was wondering what a food additive had to do with this weekend.

It took me awhile to catch on.

I will say if I had their money, and the world to chose from,  Madison Square Garden would not ne my choice for a venue.  Are they having thousands of guests?

Oh well, their wedding, their choice.

Big events put on by the wealthy always help local economies, which is a good thing.

Too bad Bezos didn't have his wedding in the U.S.   He's so ungrateful for how well he's done.   JMO, of course.

Those 2 have worked hard to get what they have. It wasn't given to them. While I wouldn't enjoy a wedding with 100 guests, it ain't my money. They give a lot always. They deserve the spend it how they want. Not a fan of either one of them. But I wish them the best.
