1.  I stopped sending paragraphs, stopped

begging, I stopped telling people how to treat

me, and started walking away, backing, and

distancing myself.  Life may be lonely, but it's

becoming peaceful.  Sometimes being alone in

life is better than being surrounded by the

wrong people.

2.  "IT DOESN'T MATTER WHO

            YOU USED TO BE;

What matters is who you decided to be

                      today,

            You are not your mistakes.

            You are not your mishaps.

            You are not your past,

            You are not your words.

You can decide differently today and at

every moment.  Remember that.

You are offered a new opportunity with

every breath you take, think, choose, decide

and act differently in a way that supports you

in being all that you are capable of being.

              YOU ARE NOT LESS THAN

                    YOU ARE ENOUGH

3.  We cannot force someone to hear a message

they are not ready to receive.  But we must never

underestimate the power of planting a seed.

4.                    DO NOT QUIT

Someone is praying for you and you will make it

                         through this.

                     God is on your side.

5.            WHAT WE HOPE FOR...

When a boy grows up and becomes a man he fully

understands the worth of a woman...

He doesn't lie to her, cheat on her, play games

with her heart, put her down or makes her feel

unappreciated.  Instead, he cherishes her, respects

her, loves putting a smile on her face, honors her,

stays fully committed to  her.

6.  That apartment may not be a house (but you are not

homeless), that car may not be a Benz (but you are not

walking) SOMETHING is always better than NOTHING.

7.  Never bend your head.  Always hold it high,

Look the world straight in the face.

8.  Whatever comes, let it come.

Whatever stays, let it stay,

Whatever goes...LET IT GO.

9.  Don't worry about the people who aren't

happy for you. They probably aren't happy

for themselves.

10. On a lighter note...

Don't compare your life with others.  You have

no idea what their journey is all about...if we all

threw our problems in a pile and saw everyone

else's, we would grab ours back as fast as we

could.

Lyndsays grandma,

Just this week walked away from a family situation that has kept my stomach in knots for years. Tired of walking on egg shells and not being able to have a thought much less put a voice to it.  It is sad but I'd rather be w/o two of the three and in peace than be misetable with them in my life.

@libbyannE...Actually I had a very good life.   The Words I post have nothing to do with me or my life nor do they come from me, they come from various sources.  They are Words to be shared for comfort, understanding, wisdom, helpful, etc., etc.  I know you meant well and thank you for that.

@sienna123...Good for you, I'll bet you feel much better without the weight of the extra baggage you carried.

@sienna123   I did that several years ago am glad I did.  It is sad, but you can't keep banging your head against a brick wall.

What words of wisdom -- would love to hear this preached from the pulpits.   Never will understand why people treat others with disdain--life is too short.  I printed your post and will keep it handy in times of need which is usually every day.
