Very close to the words my father shared before he passed away.  Simply said he told me to put PEOPLE FIRST --- NOT THINGS and I would have a happy life.  Lost my dad very early in my life.

@bonnielu ...I am sorry you lost your dear father early in your life.  My father passed at the age of 96 but because I lived 3,000 miles from him I didn't see him very often.  I adored him and I miss him very much. You had a very wise father.

When I was younger, I was a spitfire sometimes, and would probably have scoffed at these words. Today, I humbly cherish them.😁
