I don't know if a thread is posted about this but they are looking for people on several flights.....from overseas to Boston to Orlando and maybe Atlanta? Not for sure exactly but it has flu like symptoms........this can be a deadly disease and the person was on flight May 1....the same day I was but hopefully my plane did not have any passengers that had been exposed......be safe in your flight travels....I would wear disposal gloves and no touch my face.

Oh, dear........ always something we have to worry about now-a-days! Let's be careful, as most likely it will spread here and there and everywhere ..........(hopefully not, though).

Always best to keep our hands washed. I hope no one else dies over this disease. I don't think they have any medication for this disease.

Just the facts mam. From the CDC website

On May 2, 2014, the first U.S. case of MERS was confirmed in a traveler from Saudi Arabia to the U.S. The traveler is considered to be fully recovered and has been released from the hospital. Public health officials have contacted healthcare workers, family members, and travelers who had close contact with the patient. At this time, none of these contacts has had evidence of being infected with MERS-CoV.

On May 11, 2014, a second U.S. imported case of MERS was confirmed in a traveler who also came to the U.S. from Saudi Arabia. This patient is currently hospitalized and doing well. People who had close contact with this patient are being contacted. The two U.S. cases are not linked.

I'm glad I'm not living in Orlando anymore.
