They just reported on our local 5:00 PM news here in St. Louis about a wild fire that has recently broken out due to extreme dry conditions.

Please, if you are a smoker, do not throw a lit cigarette butt out the window. That's what ash trays are for in your car.

And they are cancelling the 4th firework displays all over the place here. Have not heard if the ones at the river front will be cancelled yet or not. But in the different county communities, they are cancelling them right and left. Guess the police will be very very busy over the weekend and on the 4th.
