Lymphoma and my guilt

I found a lump on the side of my dog's neck a day before she went for her teeth cleaning. They aspirated it and called last week to tell me it was Lymphoma. She started Chemo yesterday. The problem is the guilt I'm having now after doing more research on Lymphoma. I had been giving her nightly benedryl for quite some time. Now I read that it may cause cancer/immune system problems. I am just sick. I can't stop crying. If I am to blame for her getting sick I don't know how I could live with the guilt. She tolerated the first treatment well and they are going to do a biospy next week before her Chemo. I think we caught it early but if giving her Benedryl nightly caused this I honestly don't know how I will live with my guilt Teddy
