@PurpleBunny, that would get old. I would be tempted to complain.

Would fall on deaf ears. He and his kids do what they want. They are menaces.

Unless it's something out of the ordinary, I really do not notice what someone is driving.

Luxury car is a subjective category.  I do think there are more expensive cars around thanks to leasing.  One of the hooks for leasing is, "we can put you into a more expensive car than you could afford to buy."

I remember when the wealthier mothers drove Ford Country Squire Station Wagons.  Now around here, they drive Mercedes or Porsche SUVs

I think expensive cars don't really look expensive.  I mean some do, but others, I'm surprised to see the emblems, tbh.

The only thing that really gets me is a car that's well into the six figures and has that flat finish, I just don't get it.

And I certainly don't mean to insult anyone here who has it.  I just think your ride would look so much better....shiny!

@Lucky Charm

Shiny!!

I saw this Maserati a couple weeks ago...with a chrome finish.

Sorry I couldn't get a clear shot w/out a blasted fire hydrant,

but really pretty, the same!

Good for them!  That's what I'd think.   I have a dream vehicle.  It's a Rolls Royce Phantom.....

@itiswhatitis

What about a Rolls Royce Wraith?

I saw this a couple yrs ago at my fitness center.  Notice how the owner just parked right out in front...with the rest of us!  Dings? Whatever.  Good for them the parking lot was empty.

😀

Steve Jobs was an amazing life taken way too soon.

Clearly, those who say an expensive luxury car does nothing for them either have never driven one or have all 5 of their senses disabled. The comfort of the seat. The quiet. The responsiveness, the safety, the ease of handling. It's difficult to explain , but I have driven them all as a perk of how my first husband made a living. There is nothing else like the experience. A big ole heavy Rolls or classic Benz - so smooth luxurious and safe feeling to a ferrari or a mazaratti - instant response to just a slight twitch of the wheel or slightest touch on the gas, but totally smooth 100% of the time.Even the seat belts are soft and fit comfortably against you - never have to fuss to make it comfortable. The doors close so smoothly they are like a hug. Who wouldn't want to live like this every day?

I drive one and quite frankly don't care what anyone else thinks about my choice.
