I worked nights in OB-GYN while I was in school.  The seasoned Nurses ALWAYS said watch out it's a full moon tonight.  And it was true.

I have a real love of the moon, so I don't think it's responsible.

Many, many years ago, I knew several various types of public-service people (who didn't know one another) who mentioned the problems/situations that came in during full moons.  They had to hire 'extras' during those full moon times.  So, anything is possible, although I'm only guessing that we can't scientfically explain or substantiate.   It would be interesting research, though.

'More or less', 'Right or wrong', 'In general', and 'Just thinking out loud ' (as usual).

Anyone who works with the public knows to schedule their vacation during periods of full moons.

The police claim  it has a effect on people. I have heard hospitals say. they get a lot of births on a full moon

yes, many do. The hospital we were at says that births increase so they always staff full moon days with more doctors and nurses. They have statistics on this and that is why it influences their staffing decisions. No reason for them to lie.
