I have had my Ivory Luminara candles for several years and no red spots....In fact I have them on right now...no problems.....

Now Im concerned about the Ivory TSV's I recently purchased and recently displayed...hope they STAY ivory....Woman Frustrated

These candles are too expensive to do this...I would pose the question on her Facebook Page, Janine Graff QVC....

Update--After several emails back and forth with Luminara customer service, as well as providing, at their request, pictures of the outside and inside of 5 ivory candles, their response was that they probably picked up the color from  my red Luminara candles sitting over a foot apart from them, but on the same mantle, out of the air.  Really!  Since this original post, I have had 2 tall white Luminara pillars develop the same phenomenon--and they are a fairly recent purchase that weren't even displayed--but still out of warranty.  Just FYI.

That would mean that the color is vaporizing, airborne, and traveling. That means you could be breathing it. And that means that these candles shouldn't be around pets, pregnant women, people with medical conditions, etc. Or anybody else.

Not that I believe the BS that the CS gave you, but they deserve to have the brand trashed for floating such nonsense. They have a defective product. Replace or refund is the appropriate solution.

I just noticed some red blotches forming on my ivory candles. They are about 3 years old and the only color candle I have. I wonder if it was a tainted batch of wax that affects only certain batches of candles.

@Nickname new

I have a ton of Luminara candles, many of them ivory and many that I've had for many years, but I've never had any discolor with splotches like that.

Are they situated where they get a lot of sunlight through a window perhaps?

Just wondering if that could cause it.

strange....i have white and ivory and glitter luminara candles and some by candle impressions. have never had anything like this happen to them. in fact, i am impressed by the quality and longevity of the products themselves and the battery life.
