Lucked out on amazon.com order

I finally gave up trying to do it on my own and ordered Windows 8.1 for Dummies. I had forgotten I had a $14.87 Kindle credit, which was applied to the purchase price, leaving me with a balance of $5.44! I needed that today! {#emotions_dlg.thumbup}

Is there a Kindle for Dummies? I'd like to buy one but I'm afraid I wouldn't be able to work it.

Good for you! Lots of smart folks are having problems with W8 (or W8.1 ?). Anyway, I'll alert them. Thanks!

There is a Kindle version of this and many other books, but I'm not sure if there is a Kindle for Dummies . . . which would make sense, wouldn't it? I would check it out on amazon. You never know.

Yeah . . . I'm sick of this romary. It's a really whacky OS and I just can't figure it out. Never had an OS I couldn't run with ease. I understand it was originally written for an iPad type device and then they tried to make changes to it for computers. Obviously that did not work out too well! I was going to wait for another upgrade, but it's too frustrating when I can't even figure out how to save a photo to a folder. So I gave up and bought the book.

Getting it for $5+ bucks is icing on the cake!

You won't really need it, AuntG, as Amazon has a "help" button on each Kindle so you can always connect and live chat with them as much as you want. 8)
