Oh yes yesterday was a very lovely day here in upper Michigan. Our beautiful lake is frozen over but with the continued warmer temps we've been having I see watery areas here and there. It amazes me that there are still quite of bit of shantys out there for the diehard fishermen! I wouldn't trust the ice! But I look forward to the lake thawing and getting back to "normal". ![]()

It was a beautiful warm day here in the South which I was enjoying with the patio door and windows open, until our rude next door neighbor decided to burn leaves and limbs, which billowed into my house as I raced around to close everything.
I have COPD, so not pleasant for me.

@Shorty2UThe whole week, it seems, has been devoted to getting our tiny little laundry area ready for our new washer/dryer. Couldn't just get a new dryer and be done with it. Oh, no. I had to get a new stacking set and hopefully turn them around to give me more room to work Removed cupboards that were above the old set, then decided I better paint the area. So, did that yesterday. Messed around with the dryer plug, blew a fuse and had to have an electrician come Friday night to be sure it was safe. We had given the washer to a friend in need because it was still working and he was supposed to pick it up today. He texted me yesterday morning and said that his wife decided it was too big for their space (it's not) Anyway, after receiving his text, I hurriedly placed a for free ad in our community website to hopefully give it away. Sunday morning our neighbor said they were ready for us to bring them the treadmill I offered them (for free). So, halted our project, loaded up the treadmill and took it to them. Got a call late last night about the washer, so will call him this morning. Otherwise Sears will cart it off with the dryer tomorrow. So, bad week, woke up at 2:30 this a.m., couldn't sleep and here I am. I don't blame you for skipping over this post. LOL

First off, we broke records today in PA for Feb when it hit 68 degrees! :-)
We went to see Lion (the movie) It was absolutely amazing in our opinions! DH and I both loved it.
Went to shop at Target (finally), with my Christmas gift cards. Got some Spring clothes, make up, and the La La Land movie cd (loved the movie, love the music). And I still have money left on my one gift card!
Went for a ride and stopped at the cemetery to check if my parents Christmas wreath was still in the ground. (It is and still green as can be)
With the moon roof open we took a drive out of our way to a car wash and rode through that (closed the moon roof before starting the car wash of course).
Then ended the day by going out to dinner.
PS) I suffer from chronic back pain, but I just had 6 shots in my back last Monday so I did it all with no back pain! (shots will wear off again, and it may not sound like much, but today was simply glorious!).
You?
Your day and activities sound delightful. I'm happy you enjoyed your day and shared this optimistic post with us.

We had 66 and 69 Saturday and Sunday at the Jersey Shore. We're in for more 60s later this week.
The daffodils and crocus are inching their way out of the ground.
I loved the movie Lion too.

Southern WV enjoyed bright sunshine and temps in the mid 60's today. Usually we have seen over 50 inches of snow by this time, but have only seen 18 inches so far this winter.
I am quite okay with this mild weather, but know winter will be in our face again in the weeks ahead.
I made a trip to Wal-Mart today to restock essentials. Hadn't been in the store since early December, and have no plans to go back until mid to late May.
