MaryBeth is a great host.  But I have a difficult time listening to her say HERES THE THING hundreds of times over a three hour span of time.   After the first 50 times of hearing HERES THE THING.... I start to wait for the next time I will hear it and tune out what else she is saying... or change the channel.

 I wish she would  work on deleting this phrase and try not to say the phrase so often. I think if she just left it out and continued on with discribing what she is selling, it would work out fine. It is not necessary to say HERES THE THING. It is just a bad habit. Being that her job is speaking on National TV, she should want to improve her presentations I would think by deleting HERES THE THING.

I understand what you are saying, but it doesn't bother me.  Lol, I guess I am just used to it, I don't even hear it anymore.  I love Mary Beth, one of my favorites! 💗

I totally agree. I don't think she is as sharp anymore and seems to be at a loss for what to say and this "heres the thing" comes out all the time.  You can almost predict when she is going to say it too!

I totally agree with you SeaMaiden. She says it all the time. Over and over. It gets old really fast. It is just a habit. I wonder if she even realizes she says it. With that said, I have enjoyed her for many years. She seems like such a  nice woman.

I've always enjoyed watching Mary Beth as she seems very genuine but "here's the thing", I too find myself focusing on that phrase rather than what she's saying about the products.

That would be a fun game but I'm guessing most of us would be passed out by the end of her show!!!

i think mary beth is a genuine traditional lady and you don't see them that often anymore.

i have a lot of respect for her.
