Add me to the Love fest of Amazon! It is one of the best. Been a Prime member for many, many years. Any payment is more then made up for in savings.  If I see something online that I like I always check in with Amazon to see if they carry the item and their price. 9 times out of 10 they have it and at a lower price. Their CS is wonderful, knowledgeable, and want to make things right. One time out of years of shopping with Amazon I had a problem.  The box was damaged and the contents inside were too. They sent out a new one, no charge and I didn't have to send back the damaged item.  Now that is Customer Service done right!  I haven't had anyone deliver my packages besides USPS, UPS, FEDEX. Matter of fact, this morning I had 11 packages delivered by the post office. 10 of which were from Amazon (I have a large family). So they deserve all the accolades they get imo. I also puchase from local merchants when I need something that is special and different from the everyday.  Happy to support locals just like I do Amazon.

I just recently had a product I ordered that did not arrive in time (Prime member), they credited my acount the very next day, and let me keep the book a week later when it arrived.  The CS clerks are always friendly and willing to go the extra mile to satisfy you to your satisfaction!  Amazon will have my businessess for a  long time to come, where 1 vendor (not saying who) has lost my business, due to error after error, with false promises!

I just ordered my niece and nephews presents from amazon. Super easy. I have prime but I do the monthly because if I find I am not ordering I want to be able to cancel it.

I do think Amazon can be great, but given what I buy I see no reason to make Bezos any richer than he already is!  Every time I see a post here which asks why someone already rich and famous wants to sell something else and then I see that person enriching Bezos, I wonder what they really are thinking.  There's no QVC vendor who has any money at all compared to him.

And Amazon isn't always better.  I like Perricone products and have had one kit on AD for quite a while.  Each time a shipment is imminent, I check to see whether the QVC price is still good.  So far -  just that one kit from which I use all the products is hundreds of dollars less than if I ordered the items from Amazon.

Do you realize how many jobs amazon provides.

Just wanted to mention, that although I'm DONE ordering from Amazon, their CS agents have always been very nice.

It's just that I've had to call them SO MANY TIMES! Their packaging is just so bad. If they send an item that can be dented or broken, chances are that's how it arrives to me. And they've sent me wrong items a few times. Then's there's that white van delvery service.....

One time I ordered some bags of organic candy, & also a 25 lb. bag of organic fertilizer (can't find it locally). They shipped them in the same box. You know what fertilizer smells like, & that you don't mix it with food, right?

I've spent WAY too many hours talking to their CS agents for stupid reasons I just mentioned...over, & over again.

When I order from Vitacost, they wrap & ship with such care. It's like they're shipping valuables. Of course they have a different product selection. It's one of my fave places to shop online.  Heart

I just fell out of love with Amazon about 2 months ago. I ordered lots from them and always happy with what I receieved. I ordered a portable power pack to take on an up coming trip.  It was approaching due date and I was getting on edge. The day before delivery date it still had not been shipped. So I email and got a reply telling me not to worry that they would make sure I had it the next day. Happy me right? NO! In the email it stated where Amazon woud be charged me an additional $17.99 (for express shipping) They never ask if I wanted express shipping. It's not my fault they didn't ship it out in time. Well I know they didn't!! I went in and cancel the order and told them I had NOT given them permission to take additional monies out. I was so mad I deleted all my info. May have to have shame face and go back. Woman Frustrated Since the Q is wanting to send most of my packages through USPS, and I refuse to have to battle with my local Post Office when trying to receive them. I guess they now need to remove the C for convenience. To me they are QV. Oh well, I guess my days of watching and buying here are coming to an end................ The email I got from the Q about this was very disheartening. Oh well!! It will be a new day for some one. Woman Wink

I sent this message from the last living brain cell I have.

Good, bad, or indifferent, I only wish I had bought a ton of stock when Amazon was a baby company!
