Qvc sold out of "Living Proof amp" hair product.
Not only did Amazon have the item 15.59 free shipping no tax.

Me too! Fast, free shipping, good prices and a lot of choices. If I find something I want in a store or online, I check Amazon to see if it's available--it usually is--and order from them.

Up until this week I would have said that I would agree.
I ordered 5 car chargers for phones. The were about $8.00 each. I realized that I only needed 2 so I went on line to return to find out that they are not returnable. I searched the original site for the fine print but if it is there I cannot locate.
It's not a big deal but it happened.
One time I got a package that was sent to me but the contents was not mine. It was a twin mattress pad. Im sure not expensive but I tried to go on line to return but could not locate any CS to help. I just put in closet and waited to see if they would contact me.
Overall they are a retail force for sure.

I do think Amazon can be great, but given what I buy I see no reason to make Bezos any richer than he already is! Every time I see a post here which asks why someone already rich and famous wants to sell something else and then I see that person enriching Bezos, I wonder what they really are thinking. There's no QVC vendor who has any money at all compared to him.
And Amazon isn't always better. I like Perricone products and have had one kit on AD for quite a while. Each time a shipment is imminent, I check to see whether the QVC price is still good. So far - just that one kit from which I use all the products is hundreds of dollars less than if I ordered the items from Amazon.

I agree about Amazon! Great prices, and stuff arrives in 2 days. If I have a problem, I call and it's taken care of. (That has rarely happened)

Amazon....the 2nd love of my life. Right now, I am loving Primenow. I needed a few things to make dinner tonight and few beauty items. Made my order and ....bam! Two hour delivery, my stuff will be here in an hour and no delivery charge.

Sorry but I have had bad experiences
1. A third party vendor not selling name brand merchandise he advertised and pictured in his product descriptions.....Amazon did nothing with my complaint and my negative review was deleted.
2. credit card was hacked on Amazon....new card and only purchase made was Amazon so easy to figure out where it occurred.
3. Harrassed by certain group that liked a particular author and didnt like the review I gave their favorite author....
4. Their prices arent as great as they used to be---shop around folks...............
5. They are a monopoly and sadly drove a lot of companies out of business and jobs have been lost---a little too big for their britches!

Personally NEVER buy from third parties.
Not able to address negative reviews or experiences.
Amazon has always made my shopping pleasurable.
The same is true for Qvc never had a problem.
Not saying bad experiences don't happen. Today merely wanted to share positive outcome. By the way! Great prime options to watch movies shows and series.

Are you sure? Has your item been delivered yet in a beat up old white truck with absolutely no lettering on it, and a delivery guy who looks like he'd rather rob you than throw the package at your doorstep?
I watched the whole thing from my bedroom window and waited until he was fully out of sight before I opened my door.
I will never order from Amazon again.

My one problem in years of Amazon shopping was with a 3rd party vendor. I went through the A to Z claim process, and Amazon stepped in and refunded my $$ very quickly. I won't purchase from 3rd party vendors any more. I don't see how Amazon would fail to settle a claim the customer initiates and follows up on if necessary, but I guess it is possible.
As to price comparing - don't we all do that, with every retailer?
