@silkyk  My husband's driver's license expired on the 17th but since Penndot (PA DMV) is closed all expirations have been extended to the end of April.

I'm sure some of them are delusional enough to believe the invisible god will magically protect them from the virus if they go,

@silkyk: Hubby has an Appt today to renew his license. I called 2 days ago to ask what precautions they were taking. They told me no more then 10 people would be allowed in. And that they where cleaning pretty frequently. That's here in AZ

Our food banks are almost empty. Our church is doing a drive-thru food drive and then donating it to families we support and the rest to the food bank. I felt so sad to see one of the food bank directors fighting back tears as she begged for donations. Hard to donate food when your own cupboard is bare and there is little food to buy with donated money right now. Many restaurants that have been told to close were stuck with fresh foods and not able to use them all before closing, so they gave a lot of fresh food, such as meat, veggies, fruit, milk, etc. to the food banks which immediately were able to put into the hands of needy families. Counting our blessings is a must right now.

What is wrong with people?  What, two weeks ago people here were being shamed and ridiculed for being paranoid?

What's wrong is people are scared, people are concerned because we don't know what to think, some are going on about their business, all because this is new, and nobody really knows what is going on with this.

Where are all the people who were making fun of it a couple of weeks ago and saying they weren't going to believe it an go on about their business?

People are all over the place--so try to do what YOU think is ok, stick to your business, be careful, pray if you are of faith, and do the best you can.   It's a mess but we simply carry on.  It's all any of us can do. Be kind where you can.

In most states now, including mine, such gatherings would be illegal.  Our governor has said such violators will be subject to criminal penalities.

@silkyk    Our DMV is shut down in NM.  Virtually everything is shut.

A "revival"..... how ridiculously selfish and stupid. It's so awful to see how many ignorant people we live among.

It may not be the case but there are commercials I hear for events near me which I know are cancelled, however, broadcast time had already been purchased so they haven't been removed.

DMVs in Virginia are closed for the next two weeks at least and have been for the last two days I believe.
