Not sure where to ask this as I've noticed in the Customer Care section mods don't reply as often as they used to.
I've read that if you return multiple items in ONE box, you ONLY pay the ONE fee of $6.96 or $8.00 or whatever the return slip states. I've also read (and have experienced) that when doing that, you're STILL charged the return fee for EACH item anyway.
I called CS and received conflicting answers. I know I can pay for the return postage myself but in this case, it would be more than the slip due to the size/weight of the box. Also, this return is being done by someone else in a different state as I had things sent to her as a gift and they aren't up to snuff.
Any insight/experience regarding this? If there's a better place to post it, please tell me and I'll move it. Thanks!

Did you email the Mods?

According to what the mods have said in the past, you send one item, a second can ride along free but any others you will be charged the full return shipping fee.

FiddleDeeDee: After confirming with CS several times (just to make sure) I have been returning several items in one box for the past two years. They have to be the same type of item, i.e. clothing in one box, shoes in another, cosmetics in yet another. I use one label and enclose the unused one (crossed out) to show they were not used. You do, however, still have to pay the initial shipping charge and applicable tax when they were sent to you. Hope this helps.

And be sure that all items in the same box are supposed to be returned to the same warehouse/address.

Definitely! Good point.
Once by accident, I sent back 2 returns in one box, but they were supposed to go to different warehouses and that took forever to straighten out and to get a refund on the one that went to the wrong warehouse.

Thanks ladies. I will email the mods with more details and see what they suggest. ![]()
