I got up early and was playing around on my IPad and checked on the weather. It said snow accumulation 5 to 8 " and it looked like it had been snowing all night. I was disheartened because our trash an recycling carts are out and I was imagining dragging them through the snow . Boo hoo !  Well I just looked outside and there is zero accumulation ! I should have looked out the window. Well back to meal prep, I hope you all have good weather and great food !

It's raining here in my part of Pa. but it's to stop mid day. We need it badly as we are in a severe drought.

We're supposed to get our first measurable snow this weekend. It's rare that we haven't had to plow 2-3 times by now. Midwest.

Cloudy here but feels like Thanksgiving to me.  Typical weather but no snow.

We are finally getting heavy rain for the first time in a a few months!  It did rain a bit a few days ago but not much.  Here in the northeast we are experiencing a drought!

Of course it would have to rain heavily on a holiday.  We will be packing the car with 4 people, a dog and lots of food on our way to sister in law's house.  I hope the rain stops by later this afternoon.

Then there is the parade which I enjoy watching every year....both Macys & the local one in Philly.  I wonder if it will go on?

Macy's is on right now.  It seems as if it started way early this year, 8:30.

@PinkyPetunia , Sorry, I'm in the southern tier of NY state on the Pa. border.

I live in Phoenix also and 73 is terrible- we need some cold weather and rain to make it feel like a holiday- so tired of the warm temps this year
