Any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated.

My DH has Parkinson's. He has lost use of left hand/arm. I help him get dressed in morning. He has trouble pulling up his pants and can't do buttons/zippers on waistband. I also help him get his shirts on as his left arm is useless. I either button his shirt or help him pull polos over his head and pull them down for him. The meds he is on use to last 4 hrs but now they are only helping for 1-2 hrs. It is heartbreaking to see him struggle. He is shuffling now when he walks and very stiff legged. Fortunately, he isn't falling down. Strapping the seat belt in the car now requires several minutes or assistance. Going to restroom during work hours is very difficult for him now.

He is in management of distribution facility so he is on his feet a lot and does a lot of walking. The stress of the job is high as he is on call 24/7 and works up to 14 hrs. a day.

He has long term disability insurance through his employer. He is only a couple years away from retirement. He sees a neurologist regularly since 2007 when he was diagnosed so there would be no issue with proving his disability.

Any advice or tips?
