A different angle would be helpful. I'd like to see a sideways picture of her.

Reminds me of this photo I saw yesterday of a Great Horned Owl's legs:

I was reading her rescue.  She had been wondering around for days when she was found.  She was dehydrated and underweight. She was also sick to her stomach.  The nursed her back to health.

I wonder how old she is.  I've seen baby elephants walking with their moms and never noticed their legs being unusually long.

These pictures were of her shortly after she was found.  She was able to walk. (elephants get on their feet around 24 hours after birth.  She was extremely thin.  She was about 3 to 4 weeks old.   This photo was last year.  She is very healthy now.

Because she was so thin.  She was only a couple of weeks old when they found her.  She literally starving to death.

Wow, she sure does have long legs. When I've seen baby elephants their legs don't seem that long.

You normally see well fed babies.  The have very big bellies.  So there legs look more in proportion.  This baby was near starvation.  So her middle is barely there.  Making her legs look too long.

This is her with a well fed belly.  She was sick for a long time after she was rescued.

@songbird   Thank you for posting the picture and the rest of the story.  I'm so glad to see a picture of her after she recovered.
