Lock & Lock or...

I wonder if this only happens to me, but when I put the Lock & Lock or anything other Tupperware kind of containers in the dishwasher I get this white film on the inside, not sure what it is, cannot even describe it but it seems like its permanent and it drives me crazy, as I do not know what it is or why it does it. Does anyone know what the heck I am talking about lol.
