I don't eat it but according to my local market I can get 20 two pound lobsters for $300.

@Momofdogs  Well, if you're willing to go down to the docks between 4-5 am you will be able to get **live** lobsters restaurants do not want for FREE! 

That is if you're lucky enough to live near "shipping ports."

Thought the same---but I am not a lobster eater anyway, so would NEVER buy any.

We don't eat lobster or fish either but I do know enough to know that price is ridiculous.

@Zhills  YIKES!  I KNOW they Are "Lobsters"   but put wings on those things and they'd look like GIANT MOSQUITOS!

I know how to clean a lobster, even the skinny legs, myself.  Its half the fun of eating them if you ask me. 

 I would eat all 2lbs myself in about 7 minutes if it was already shelled.There goes $300.
