Liver Transplant~~

One of my best friends boyfriend is having a liver transplant today. She has lots of information from the doctors from this past year. She is not one to read things but I am.....I have been searching online today. It seems the new liver can be rejected 70% of the time and they give medicine for that and he will have to take some medicine's for the rest of his life.........the surgery will be 8 hours today starting at 2pm. What do you know about liver transplants?
