i went to an urgent care clinic because I had a kidney stone which I had before but when they were doing the CT scan they said I have a mass on my liver so now Monday I am having an MRI. Has anyone ever had a liver mass?

thank you for your help.

No, I haven't, but I wish you the best of all things possible, and I'll keep you in my prayers.

No, I have not.  Your doctor may want a PET scan as well.

I wish you the best.

@Squirt60 -- ask over in the Wellness forum, too.

Good luck on Monday.

I haven't, my daughter did when she was in h.s.  Twice.   It was a cyst that resolved on it's own without treatment.   Three years later, she developed another one that they drained.  A day surgery procedure done in interventional radiology.   She's 30 and she's had no problems since.  Wait for the m r i,  don't worry until there is something to worry about.

I'm glad you will be having a CT scan, it will help with the diagnosis. A liver mass is usually benign such as a hemangioma, hepatic adenoma, hepatic cyst, of focal nodular hyperplasia. They sometimes need to do a biopsy, but hopefully not in your case. Best wishes to you.

It does sound scary, but after what @RetRN posted, I wouldn't worry until they tell you that you need to worry - good thoughts being sent your way!
