Melt my butter, Barry White's music then and now. Timeless.

Marvin Gaye was another to make me just melt. The anniversary date for his death is coming up since I believe his Dad shot him on Father's Day. What a tragedy but his music will never die.

I think it happened on April Fools day, that's my sons birthday and I remember hearing about it during his party....

Your right it was April 1, 1984. Wonder why I thought Father's Day?

I was at Marvin Gaye's last live performance in Los Angeles before his father killed him, so sad.

Oh my Lindsays Grandma..........how exciting.........bitter sweet...........he was one of the greatest...........so happy you got to see him. I saw Luther Vandross.........and that concert was amazing and I think he died right after my head injury and I did not know it until I had not heard any new songs and was thinking where is Luther and saw that he died early too........I think he was Luther Vandross that died in July or something of 2003..........hello and hugs to you.

I can't believe it has been that long since Marvin has been gone..........30 years this year. Seems like only a few years ago. I guess that is because I listen to him a lot.

You know who I really enjoy singing the blues? Eric Clapton. I have a CD of him and B B King together. I never tire of listening to it.
