Listening to Dino

The piano player...........he is wonderful to me. On TBS I think................I was channel surfing and found him.

Dino Kartsonakis, I love to hear him play, wish I could play like that, I go way back to Liberace I use to love to hear him play. Jo Anne Castle that use to be on Lawrence Welk show can tear up a piano too.

Saw him in person, he is just wonderful and always enjoy his music. He is so talented, gifted from God.

I love Dino and have many of his CDs. My DH is sound operator at our church and often plays selections of his music prior to the church service. People have often told us they really enjoy Dino's music. I just wish I had talent like that; I agree it's God given.

Another pianist we really enjoy is Kim Collingsworth. She is super talented also. We have several of her CDs too.

I'll have to check TBS for Dino. I have seen him on TV, but not often. Do you remember what time he was on?

I thought she was referring to Dean Martin also. I'm not familiar with Dino.

As was I, except I was listening to "Sinatra at the Sands," my favorite Sinatra album, with Count Basie providing back-up. Sublime.

I haven't heard Dino in a long time. I remember when he was 17 or 18. He'd just won a contest, and accompanied our singing group. That sure was a long time ago. He was just barely beginning his road to fame, and sounded great back then.
