Not a gret fan of Lisa's but I've been quite concerned about her voice lately. Has anyone else noticed how her voice is quite hoarse while on the programs that she hosts? Hopefully she has had that checked. I know that she is on often and talks a lot but that doesn't seem natural.

She sounds like I did when I developed nodules on my vocal chords (singers or screamers nodules) from talking too much....The cure is total voice rest- I was off work for 2 weeks....

That is when I learned that whispering is harder on your vocal chords than speaking in a normal tone....

She said was due to her allergies and that otherwise she was fine.

Even if she had just been diagnosed with throat cancer, do you think she is going to go on the air and say so?

Post 4 really caring comments!!! Some one says they are wondering what is wrong with Lisa voice and you couldn't resist being rude.

I can appreciate that when one has some forms of hoarseness or laryngitis, they feel quite well. Not at all well. However, as a viewer, it is not at all pleasant listening to a very hoarse, raspy voice. I'd prefer that a sub fill in, in those cases.

I couldn't stand to listen last night. The voice, and then "amazing" every fourth word. Enough!
