@Caaareful Shopper Don't forget Patti Reilly. I guess Lisa is just following in her footsteps. I'm sure they thought they'd burn up the airwaves but none of them can get anything big going except Mike Rowe who has a lot of talent in areas other than selling on a shopping channel.

GR usually becomes a problem when you try and cancel.

Riley, I am not sure if this is associated with GR or not, but alot of posters on Lisa's Facebook page said to be sure and read the fine print. This particular deal on the infomercial is only for a 30 day supply and you are automatically set up for auto-delivery. You can cancel anytime but alot of posters said they did not like the fact it automatically set you up. They cancelling sometimes can be a hassle. I will stay with QVC when ordering her hydroshield and pads.

Maybe it is possible that some people are ready for -- and happier not to have to do the routine day to day thing and have been successful enough to do as they please.

I would bet that at least some of these people we are picking apart, are content. I hope so anyway.

I wish I was plumped up and filled....I can't afford it for those who can....look at how great those two look. More power to them. I believe you can have work done and still benefit by using products. I think a lot of plastic surgeons have work done that present their lines...pretty sure PTR has had work done but he isn't an attractive female so I haven't noticed threads bashing his work or success.

I recently read on here that she was going to do an infomercial. Lol, I woke up this morning and channel surfing and there she was. I guess it's a paycheck, but seems a bit of a come down for her. Joy and Stacey Ann were also in it. Seems like the only former host that's gone on to better things in tv is Mike Rowe. Kathy Levine, Patti, Steve Bryant and others have all done the infomercials. Lol, I agree she looks like she's had work done, but did when she was at QVC as well. I always want to laugh at them selling lotions and potions.

@shell garden - You're right I think. The TV shopping world is a small one and the networking seems to be quite internal. Over the years many of the hosts from QVC have appeared on other shopping channels or on infomercials, probably because they know people in the industry.

But that's pretty much the same as many other industries - networking pays off.

I didn't see the program under discussion and I don't need to - but I love Hydroshield and I think it's one of the few products I can say for sure I bought because Lisa was hosting with Dr. Denese and said she used it no matter what else was going on top of it. That was years ago and I still buy it, also from QVC because even when someone has mentioned a sale elsewhere, I can never seem to beat the price on whatever AD I have going on it with QVC.

Lisa was my all-time favorite QVC host, but like all the others who left - Kathy, Patty, Dave X2, Judy, Paul, and on and on - I'm not chasing them anywhere. I wish them well, but as they move on, I do also.

I like pay checks, since I was recently laid off:-) I can appreciate having one. The only humor I find about her doing the infomercial is the constant threads speculating and bashing her and other previous hosts....the humor is that there will always be people out there who actually get some kind of sick/weird enjoyment putting people down. It's reminds me of teenage high school girls and their bullying they do....some people are just not capable of finding the silver lining.
