@AuntG , I haven't ordered anything from her site since June 2020.  At the beginning, she had reasonable prices, but then her asking price on items were getting ridiculous.

I don't think she has done well in her business lately and I think that is the real reason why she is closing, even though she says otherwise (retiring and spending time with her husband).  I wish Lisa well, and I like her, but I think she should have stayed at QVC.

Sadly, her estate is still up for sale.  Not a good economy right now.  She should have never bought that place and just rented somewhere and stayed in her previous home.

Isn't the asking price three times more than she paid for it just a few years ago? That might explain why it is still on the market.

Her and her husband are going to be taking people on trips out of the country. They are already lined up with her travel agent and advertising the trips. Looks like starting in 2025 so I guess giving them time to get newly settled.

Re: Lisa Robertson - Closing her On Line Business

Perhaps those years Lisa was really more interested in dating her now husband than in running the business? It was her business to do as she pleased and if it didn't do well, she may not have cared; perferring to have a personal life instead. Good for her after working so hard for so many years! She can always donate what is left. Close the doors and walk out.

She's been an amazing business woman and earned an incredible amount of status, money and power. Now, it's time to enjoy married life and travel. I wish them both a life well lived doing what makes them happy and healthy.

Who is anyone to judge her? She's worked for years and years to live a life of peace from the daily stresses. Life is short!  Time to enjoy the moments and live her life with abandon and freedom of on-line sales.

Money screams; wealth whispers.

@kittykatkay    I don't know enough about her personal life or her financial life to know what she should have done. I would assume that at the time she made her decisions, they were good options for her.  Lots of us have been through major changes during the decade since Lisa and QVC parted company.

All I will say is the assertions about Lisa's wealth, status, marriage, inner thoughts, etc. are laughable. I'm assuming no one here is her personal confidant or even better yet, her accountant. What we do know is she's closing her business.....and there are no returns on items purchased.

I browsed early on but never bought anything. And certainly will not be doing so now.

Well that's all fine and good  but this is a fast paced world.

I have always liked her and think it was a big mistake to  leave QVC while she was still young and could have saved up some more money for old age. A few stalkers?  They would have passed easily.  I think she thought it best to make it on her own. Not so in the end.

Well now she is here with a new husband, an online business that went down, plus a not so smart thought out farm where no one wants to live in albeit  very pretty.

Good real estate is so hot right now, there is little inventory.  As well as good rentals.  But yet it's been on the market a long, long time for that asking price.

Lisa - location, location, location.

Anyway,  I think this cruise idea will wither away as well.  We live in a throw away society today. She will eventually sell the place at a reasonable price, and it wil be plenty for retirement for the two of them.  She's now a cruise lady?  Oh boy.....

Here today, gone tomorrow sad as they say but true.

We must remember this in our new A1 robotic world.\

Lisa, who?????

Good luck Lisa.

It's pitiful and hilarious at the same time.

Re: Lisa Robertson - Closing her On Line Business

I have several of her jewelry pieces and they are all excellent quality. Her shipping was prompt and the one time I contacted her customer service my issue was dealt with in a prompt and courteous manner. I wish her the best in her new endeavor.
