Linda's song "Heatwave" has been playing on a Hallmark commercial so I decided to look her up to see what she is up to.

She had so many great hits, I thought she was still active in the biz in some way.

Apparently, she is suffering from Parkinson's and cannot sing a note.

What a powerhouse voice she had. So sad to hear this.

@flickerbulb  Yes, Linda has been dealing with Parkinson's for quite some time.  She was one of my faves back in the day.

I first saw her when she had just left the Stone Ponys and was an opening act for Neil Young.

Wow - looking at all of the ones who have either passed or can not longer perform in  recent years -Linda, Frey, Joe C*cker, etc.

And yet all the Stones "roll" on.  LOL

Wow, that's so sad.  I had no idea she has Parkinson's.

She's always been one of my favorites, though I haven't heard any of her music in a long time. Several years ago I read that she was having health issues, which is always sad to hear. Check out this performance on youtube. It will take you back to the 70's and you'll laugh at the hairstyles and clothes.

I remember that Linda Rondstadt and Vicki Carr had to both hide the fact that they were Mexican.

My mom had Linda Ronstadt's Greatest Hits on an 8-track tape and we'd listen to it over and over when we got in the car.  ☺️

Linda Rondstadt's mother is of mexican ancestry.

Viicki Carr came from both parents who were of mexican ancestry.

Linda Carter (the Wonder Woman) also had a mother who was of Mexican Ancestry.

Actually it is on her Fathers side. Her mother is European.
